The climate crisis has a disproportionate impact on women and gender diverse people, but gender equity solutions, including family planning, are completely absent from most climate plans. We envision a future where existing inequities are not deepened as the climate crisis continues.

REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH & FREEDOM

Every person should have the right to make their own healthcare decisions. The ability for people to decide when — and if — they want their family to grow should never be limited by income, race or geography. 

ACCESS TO EDUCATION

Access to contraception improves college graduation rates by 12%; however, due to the lack of a national sex ed curriculum in the U.S. many first-year students arrive on campus with little knowledge of sexual and reproductive health. Universal access to age-appropriate, medically accurate sex education is the first step to reproductive well-being and gender empowerment.

BIODIVERSITY

Species are facing relentless pressure from expanding human development, habitat destruction, invasive species and climate change. We work to secure a future for all species, great and small, hovering on the brink of extinction.

ALTERNATIVE ECONOMIES

Our endless growth economy has led to rampant overproduction and pressure to constantly consume, driving destructive resource extraction, pollution, and waste and contributing to the climate and extinction crises. We must transition to an alternative economy where everyone has a voice, opportunities, safe workplaces, fair wages, healthy environments, and equitable access to healthy products and services.

CONSUMPTION

We live on a finite planet that cannot support unequitable, unchecked consumption. Building a culture of waste prevention, reuse, sharing and conscious consumption is the way forward to prioritize the health of communities and the environment.
